Lavender Farm Preschool is open year round. We follow the Portland Public School calendar for holidays, winter break, and spring break. We take a week long summer break in June and a partial week off in August for teacher planning and work days.

Juneteenth: On a Friday this year, so no school days off

Teacher Planning/Cleaning Day: Thursday, August 20th, 2026

Last day of the school year: Thursday, August 27th, 2026

We follow Portland Public Schools for holiday closures with the exception of summer. During the summer we have a 2 week break, Monday, June 22nd — Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 and two days of teacher preparation and planning time in August.
